Yearbook Cover Contest & December Field Trip

We are so very excited to be planning a fun and adventurous field trip that will take place on Thursday, December 5th. We have the opportunity to visit the Living Planet Aquarium, in Draper. We will be boarding the buses around 9:00, and will NOT be able to wait for late students. As of right now, we are planning on getting to the aquarium around 10:00. We can enter the aquarium at 10:15. We will leave the aquarium around 12:45 so we can arrive back at Quest around 2:00.

We are asking for help from volunteers to chaperone groups for our field trip.

Chaperones will be partnered together to watch over groups of students and should stay together to monitor their respective groups. Unfortunately, space on the buses is very limited, so we need to ask those that are able to drive to the aquarium to do so. Please read over the following list of rules, expectations, and responsibilities that we have set for those chaperoning the field trip with us.

  • No extra siblings may attend the field trip with us
  • Chaperones must stay with your group and pay attention to them
  • Chaperones will NOT purchase anything for members of their group, including their own child, while on the field trip (this includes snacks and items from the gift shop)
  • Chaperones will follow all rules set forth by the aquarium
The cost for this field trip is $5.00 per student and needs to be paid to the front office.

For volunteers the cost for entry to the aquarium is $10.00 and this also needs to be paid to the front office. All money needs to be paid to the office by - Friday, November 22nd. If we do not have payment by this time, you will not be able to attend with us. Please indicate on the form if you would like to chaperone.

School lunch will be available to take on the field trip. Please indicate on the form below

which lunch option your student chooses for the field trip. Students will also need to bring their backpack. Their backpack will serve as their storage place for their coat and lunch throughout the day. Please make sure your child is dressed for the weather. We are not allowed to eat inside the aquarium, we will be eating outside so we want to make sure they are prepared.

Students will not be allowed to purchase anything from the gift shop so please do NOT send any money with them.

Please fill out the form and have payments made no later than Friday, November 22nd however | we will gladly accept them before that!
