Teacher Appreciation Week May 5th-9th. Here are a few of my “Favorite Things!”
This is our final end of year permission slip for Field Day & other activities. Please fill out this form as soon as possible so your student can participate in these fun activities.
FIELD DAY/END OF YEAR PERMISSION FORM
I will let the children chew sugar-free peppermint gum or mints during the RISE test. Research does show that peppermint helps calm anxiety in students. Please let me know if you do not want your child to have gum during the tests.
IF YOU ARE WILLING TO DONATE GUM OR MINTS FOR THE CLASS, PLEASE SEND THEM WITH YOUR CHILD ANYTIME BEFOREHAND. **IT MUST BE SUGAR-FREE PEPPERMINT**THANKS IN ADVANCE 😉

ELA/READING RISE #1: WEDNESDAY, MAY 7, 10:00-11:20am
ELA/READING RISE #2: THURSDAY, MAY 8, 10:00-11:20am
ELA/READING RISE #3: MONDAY, MAY 12, 10:00-11:20am
MATH END OF YEAR TESTING
Math RISE#1: TUESDAY, MAY 13, 10:00-11:20am
Math RISE#2: WEDNESDAY, MAY 14, 10:00-11:20am
MAKE-UP sessions are held on Fridays.
Important Dates:
- May 5-9 – BOGO Book Fair & Teacher Appreciation Week
- May 7-8, 12 – ELA RISE Testing
- May 13-15 – Math RISE Testing
- May 21- Math/Science Olympiad & Multiplication Ice Cream Party
- We do need volunteer help for the ice cream party- please email me if you are willing and able to help serve & clean up
- May 23 – Dollar Dress Down & Tie Dye Shirts for Field Day
- I do need volunteers to help the students with packing up their tie dye shirts to go home at the end of the day- if you're willing to help with this please reach out to me via email.
- May 23 – Yearbook Signing
- May 26 – Memorial Day – NO SCHOOL
- May 27-30 – EARLY OUT
- May 28 – Field Day- if you would like to volunteer to help with activities for field day- please reach out to me via email.
- May 29 – Talent Show
- May 30 – Last Day of School
